Boating

A couple of weeks ago saw some good freinds of mine get married over in Oban on the west coast, an amazing wedding day followed by a big sunday sea kayak trip for a seafood lunch. This led in to a quiet week at work and so set me free to do some more boating. First of all in the kayak on the Garbh Ghaoir up at Rannoch Station a real wilderness trip, and then a open boat trip from Pitlochry 20km down to Dunkeld with the canoe club.

A beautiful flat calm day on Loch Tay with 3 client folk. A paddle up to Fearnan and and back.

Heading up the north side of the Loch

My new ride! An old Vauxhall Cresta, looks like it left the road some 30-40 years ago, but who knows.

A9 Canyoning

Just had a couple of amazing days with Jon exploring two new canyons both of which go under the A9 road. The first Allt a' Chrombaidh, a tributary of the Perthshire Garry at Calvine and the second Allt Girnaig again a tributary of the Perthshire Garry this time joining at Killiecrankie.

A liitle bit about General Wade's Bridge two photos below
