Scotland

So we have been up here for a few days and are starting to settle in, after a crazy journey up we are starting to relax and get in to the Scottish way of life and take in the amazing scenery right outside our front door.

The Start of 2011

So with not much boating done in 2010, 2011 got off to a good start and with the move to Scotland things can only continue to get better.
Back in North Wales to catch up with friends we managed to get a social kayak on the Dee at Llangollen, everyone out of practice and carrying a little bit of winter weight we had a pleasant few hours in the sunshine

A little ride

So I finished cleaning my bike, but she still needs some new parts. It was a beautiful day clear and crisp about -3 degrees with some ice still on the roads. Note in the video the ice on the road and a very widely taken corner!!!!!

Bike Clean

So the salt air and general lack of cleaning have taken its toll on my poor bike, so after a hard summer she is having a complete strip down and a clean no new parts apart from some new gear cables. Here are some photos before I start. Watch this space...........

Coasteering Pirates

Back at the start of November I ran a coasteering session for the Cornish Pirates Rugby Team. The event was inspired by their coach who wanted other ways to train and build absolute team work. Was coverage by ITV but I cant find the link and the photos are from the local paper. It was a very big day in coasteering terms with very big swell and lots of nervous big rugby players!!!!!!
