So I was privileged to be asked to be the safety officer for the Tay Decent this year and be in charge of all things safety for the big decent. Today was the familiarization day me and 45 safety boaters!

Opportunist!

Headed over to Fort William with Helen to spend the day with her family, they said they were going to head up the cable car on the Nevis Range with the little one........... Light bulb moment, so I took my bike and came back down the downhill mountain bike route. Winning!

Evening at the Loch

Popped up to the Loch this evening to sit and watch the sun go down after another beautiful day.

So its been pretty busy since the little trip to the Lakes, but found time for some Canyoning today and what a day, summer has arrived.........Maybe!

A little trip to the Lake District

Helen and I have just returned from a chilled out week in the Lakes, a bit of biking up Askham Fell, some walking up Great Gable, and lots of relaxing and ale drinking.
