Nice couple of days

Just finished a fantastic couple of days with Cumbonauld College Duke of Edinburgh's Award Team Abseiling, Gorge Walking and Teambuilding, and Canoeing with Breadalbane Academy on a wet and windy river Tay.

Doing the Conga up the canyon!

Recci and Ride

So a quick recci ride to see if the wind farm traffic had changed the layout of Griffing Forrest with Helen, Rachel and Phil. Then a nice but slightly damp ride with team Sloan and Colin.

New places

Spent the morning in a new canyon with our technical adviser looking at using it with groups. I have been scouting this place for the past year on and off at different water levels and after today's visit just some bits of paperwork and staff training should fingers crossed see us in there! Whoop whoop.
Here's a little teaser, watch this space.

Silver Practice D of E

This weekend I had the pleasure of acompanying 4 young ladies From Morrsions Academy on the Silver Duke of Edinburgh's Award practice expedition canoe style. Windy, wet, sunny, flat calm, sunny and proper windy was the order of the weekend, but a great weekend was had by all.

Shee of Ardtalnaig

Today saw me heading out on my todd up along part of the Rob Roy Way through Gleann a' Chilleine on the south side of Loch Tay then up on to Ciste Buide a Claidheimh and across the Shee of Ardtalnaig then dropping down in to Gleann a' Chloidh to finnish. Clear blue skies, glorious sunshine not a hint of wind and didn't see anyone all day total bliss!
